Biography

Joe Scherrer is an executive and leadership coach and business growth strategist as well as the author of The Leadership Forge: 50 Fire-Tested Insights to Solve Your Toughest Problems, Care for Your People, and Get Great Results.

Following a distinguished 24-year career as a leader and information technology and cybersecurity innovator with the US Air Force, culminating as the commander of the Air Force’s only combat coded deployable communications wing, he retired as a Colonel and returned to his home town of St. Louis. Scherrer now operates as comprehensive leadership adviser and consultant in such areas as strategy development, decision making and problem-solving, leading organizations, cybersecurity leadership, entrepreneurial start-up mentoring, and stress resilience.

Scherrer is a native St. Louisan and an avid Cardinals and Blues fan. He enjoys cycling, to include the occasional race.
