Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Security
The Henry Edwin Sever Institute at Washington University in St. Louis School of Engineering & Applied Science is currently engaged in the approval process with the National Security Agency (NSA) to establish the Master’s in Cyber Security Management (MCSM) as a Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) program of study.
Please continue to watch this page for updates on new initiatives in cyber security from the School of Engineering & Applied Science.
This multi-year process began in 2015 and involves a sequence of demonstrating successful student matriculation, expanding cyber research & publications, expanding faculty experience and collaboration, sponsorship of Cyber Security outreach to the community (such as current STEM outreach events at WashU), and overall Cyber Security program growth. Once the CAE designation has been achieved, students who successfully complete the MCSM degree will be eligible to pursue a certification by completing a set of additional elective courses.
